Welcome
The DePaul Roller Hockey Club was founded in 2005. In its first season, the team competed in a men's roller hockey league in Mt. Prospect, IL. The team finished the season strong, finishing second place overall after being defeated in the championship game.
As of the 2006-2007 season, DePaul became affiliated with the NCRHA (National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association). Competing in the Midwest Division (MCRHL), DePaul faces-off against schools such as: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, University of Illinois, and Purdue among many others.
The club is gaining popularity and interest on DePaul's campus. Interest and membership in the club has grown past the capacity of one team, thus the 2006-2007 season also brought the addition of a second team which competes in a men's league.
The club is open to any interested player, regardless of skill level. A tryout determines which players will play on the travel roster. Those who do not make the travel roster will have the option of playing on the local roster and are welcome to attend practices and other club events.
